Three Zones of Grace

three zones of graceGrace operates at three different times in life beginning with our natural lives before we are even saved from sin! That’s right. Jesus explains this when He said it rains upon the just (saved) and the unjust (unsaved). It rains on the gardens of the wicked the same as it does on the crops of the Christians. Zone 1: Before the cross where God’s grace even shines on the sinner! Zone 2 is instant Grace and instant everything! At the cross when I instantly receive forgiveness, receive a new name, I’m justified, adopted, sanctified ceremonially – all instantly. Zone 3. The last zone of Grace is God’s perpetual, ever continuing Grace After the cross that continues progressively perfecting holiness in me as I yield to Him (His Word and His Spirit). Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1; Titus 2:11-14. Grace AT the cross is not to be confused with Grace AFTER the cross. To confuse them is poor exegesis that distorts the true meaning of Grace. That distortion ends up stunting the spiritual development of the Christian as God intended it. Start at the bottom of the chart and follow the arrow through the three zones of Grace as they happen to us in life. An excellent Bible study on Grace.
