Deuteronomy 6:5; Luke 10:27: Salvation consists of two major doctrines; 1. JUSTIFICATION and 2. SANCTIFICATION.
SANCTIFICATION CONSISTS OF;
a. A PERFECT HATRED OF SIN – Results in separation from the world And all that is authored by the god of this world. It is the religion of the flesh and an obsession with the body. SEPARATION commanded: 2 Corinthians 6:14. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? world culture. HOLINESS HAS NOTHING IN COMMON WITH THE DEPRAVED MAN.
b. A PERFECT LOVE FOR GOD: COMMITMENT, DEVOTION TO GOD! Man moves between God and the world as between 2 stationary poles. Holiness IS . . . DEVOTION AND INTIMACY WITH GOD, SEPARATION FROM THE DEPRAVED WORLD CULTURE. It is both spiritual and tangible; It is manifest and latent. It involves a changed nature and a changed image!

(9) For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (10) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
VIII. HOLINESS IS TO LOVE PEOPLE, HOLY AND UNHOLY.
(a) Love simultaneously loves God’s law and God’s children, they being the same, see Romans 13;8-10; 1 John 5:3.
(B) OTHERS: altruism, the vicarious Jesus. He died for others, He lived for others!

X. HOLINESS IS HEAVEN’S CULTURE, A CELESTIAL LIFESTYLE
HOLINESS IS A SUPERNATURAL MORALITY DERIVED ONLY FROM SCRIPTURE. It is a moral contrast to the world’s depraved culture. Holiness is NOT … A STYLE OF PREACHING – It is a lifestyle. NOT AN “OLD TIME RELIGION” VOCABULARY, but pure religion that visits the fatherless and the widows in their afflictions. James 1:27. It is a culture that transforms me morally from the INSIDE OUT. Holiness is imparted by the Spirit of Truth and therefore loves the truth passionately.
Holiness unto the Lord!
Exodus 28:36; 39:30
