7 Absolutes of Creation

7 Absolutes

Genesis 1:1
The Crowning of Creation

Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

With these ten words the Lord God begins the introduction of himself to man. At first and casual glance they are words a child can understand. But the most learned mind by peering again and again would not in all his lifetime be able to reach the furthest depths of cosmic and spiritual truth contained in these ten words!

God Is Revealed in the Seven Absolutes of His Creation

1. In the beginning – Time

Un-calibrated, unmeasured duration of time. The most holy God merges from behind the veils of eternity. He comes to man from the regions of un-chronicled duration, to a speck of a planet among billions in intergalactic space to create His paradise and execute His plan to restore the Kingdom of fallen angels. And now begins the holy saga. Who is God and what is He like? He is quick to show us! We should note that when we enter the presence of God for the first to be introduced to Him He is bending over His creation in labor. The first impression we have of Him is that He is creative and labors over His creation. The first time we see God He is working!

2. God – Energy

Power, Omnipotence, omniscience, light energy, Full of Power and authority and yet with as much compassion and concern for colorful and aesthetic detail seen in the softness of a flower, the fragrance of sandalwood and the perfumed air of an orange grove. Oh, what great benevolent forethought designed into the heavens and the Earth! Day by day God speaks to man through a sunset, a rainbow, Autumn leaves saying, “I love you”, David said, “Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.” Psalm 19:2. The gentleness of Omnipotence is with us!

3. Created – Motion

Labor, action, energies expended toward a purpose. Our first impression of God the Father finds Him occupied with the creation of Earth. There are space booms! The skies are flashing and thundering as compassionate omnipotence bends over His creation in labor! The first time we meet God in scripture He is working!

4. The heaven – Space

The expanse above the earth having three spheres:

Atmospheric: Daniel 4:12 and Matthew 6:26

Galactic: Psalm 19:1

Celestial: 2 Corinthians 12:2

See Teaching Visuals, Guide to The Bible, by Dr. H.L. Wilmington, page 19.

We should not leave the matter of space without mentioning multidimensional geometry. Scientists, Theologians and Philosophers have written on this subject. Dr. Jozef Kajfosz (kie-foe-sh) a nuclear physicist of Krakow, Poland and a dedicated born again Christian gives a series of lectures on this subject entitled, At The Gates Of Space. It is indicated by mathematical law that many dimensions of space exist beyond the third dimension which we live in. Those further dimensions, of course, are where the celestial world exists and looks in upon man while man is unable to see into the dimensions beyond him. Dr. Kajfosz proves to the intellectuals once again that the Word of God is scientifically trustworthy, and that the best way any man can use his knowledge, is to channel it through faith in the Word of God!

5. And the earth – Mass

All material forms: “Earth” is our planet’s natural designation according to Genesis. There is a difference between the orderly cosmic world which God is creating in this text and the social world system which sinful man is the creator of and Satan is the god of. Modern language usage of the term “world” implies the physical and social combined. The term “worldliness” as used by bible believing preachers is a reference to the evil influences of the man made vices of the world that appeal to the appetites of the flesh nature. God created the Earth, but man made the world’s social system.

But Where Did The Atom Come From?

Evolutionists need not bother us with their explanations on the origin of the first living cell or their theories of the origin of species. We want them to explain the origin of the atom. The structure of the atom is a complex mathematical structure so small that scientists estimate there are 900 quintillion of them in one drop of water! The atom is made up of light particles in motion. This is where the beginning is! it is in the atom. All matter is made of atoms. Let the humanist who reads these lines first read Romans 1 and then give us an explanation of the origin of the atom. The Biblical origin of the atom is simple and true…it is the super intelligence of an omniscience of God that could design such a finite masterpiece and then create everything with millions of these particles of energy!

The Coronation Of Creation Begins

These five divisions of the opening verse of Genesis also represent what is known to science as the five absolutes of the universe. These absolutes were first revealed here in Genesis 1:1. Long before Dr. Herbert Spencer, a contemporary of Charles Darwin spent about 38 years compiling some 11 volumes of books known as The Spencerian Philosophy. His findings only serve to confirm the opening verse of Genesis. However, Mr. Spencer should have gotten his information from the scripture, because he missed two absolutes which scripture reveals. They are:

6. And the Spirit of God moved – Life, Energy in motion.
Genesis 1:2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness {was} upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Living, animate. articulate biological forms including the intelligent, volitional human form. Genesis 1:2. The garden was finished! Paradise was complete and self existing before God created the man. So, if the creation can exist without man, can man exist apart from the creation? The answer is, “no”. Another sign of God’s intentions. Jesus told the Pharisees, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:” God did not make man for everything, but everything for man. Therefore, the creation can exist without man but man cannot exist apart from the creation. More proof that creative forethought had man in mind from the beginning. The splendors of creation does not make sense unless God was preparing it as a place, or a setting for His companion creature. Intelligent life was the plan of an intelligent creator. We learn now the right use of that intelligence. We have yet to place the Royal Crown! There is yet the seventh and last absolute which we call the “imperial absolute!” Without this imperial absolute the creation stands as a king uncrowned. It is so supremely important, we call it, THE CROWN OF CREATION.

The Crown Is Placed

7. Behold, it was very good – Goodness
Genesis 1:31. And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Moral excellence, benevolent forethought breathed into every detail of it’s design and function! God the Creator with all seeing eyes scans over the panorama of His finished labors And God saw every thing that He had made…and…it was very good. Genesis 1:31.

The Revelation Of God’s Holiness Begins

This word, good is the Hebrew word TOV. Note verses 10, 12, 18, 21, and 25 at the end of each day of creation, goodness characterized each order of the creation. Then in verse 31, at the end of the creation labors, “and, behold, it was very good.” The Hebrew words, TOV MEOD, which mean literally,

Supremely good!

This word good has a broad meaning which includes: that which is useful, fit, suitable; of that which is morally good, honest, becoming and virtuous; of that which is right. (Old Testament Word Studies by William Wilson, page 197)

Anything God has created will bear the mark of His moral goodness! The whole of creation with all of it’s beauty and symmetry and order is held, locked, into the loving sway of myriads of laws that guarantee it’s perpetual and peaceful existence.

To deny the goodness of Divine Law is to deny one’s self of a fundamental knowledge of God Himself.

In fact, God’s law and God’s love are synonymous – destroy one is to destroy both and to disbelieve in the law of God is to disbelieve in the love of God! 1 John 3:5; Romans 13:8-10 to name only a couple of many references.

The chief characteristic of creation is goodness that is perpetuated by millions of laws in many realms of the creation such as biochemistry, articulation, nutrition, the eyes, the ears, the carbon hydrogen principle of life, etc, etc. This is also the first exposure to the Law of Love reflecting His loving intentions toward man. God’s moral laws make up the greater part of His self revelation. Divine law is man’s best source of a true knowledge about (1) God’s Person (His acts and judgments), (2) God’s plans (what future He promises to those who love and obey Him), and (3) God’s holy nature (His moral excellence).

Without the absolute of moral law and Goodness crowning the creation, nothing God created could possibly survive!

The Goodness of God’s Government

We may say that these seven absolutes constitute the completeness of creation, but without the seventh the first six could not remain. Everything created thing, animate and inanimate must have the quality of absolute goodness governing it if orderly and peaceful arrangement is to be achieved. Anything without law to govern it would self destruct. Everything in God’s Kingdom is under the rule of the Law of Love…or the Love of Law, they being the same thing. Romans 13:8-10. Adam and Eve demonstrate this fact in what followed their acts of anarchy against God in violating His commandment (government). When they thought to exist apart from and with disregard for the Law of Love, they devastated themselves and lost paradise. Goodness is in God’s Government! God’s goodness is revealed in His moral law for man as well as in the millions of cosmic laws that regulate the whole of creation. Young people: Ask your High School teacher the difference between a stable and an unstable atom and then apply it spiritually.

When anything created attempts to live outside of the order of the creation, it will self destruct! This struggle of man to think he can pit himself against the creator has been ongoing since man’s depravity and rebellion against God. It’s called the want of man against the order of things. That order is simply undeniable and God is the author of that order. It becomes unstable. It threatens it’s own existence and the existence of those things around it! This is precisely what has happened to the fallen empires of history beginning with the Medo Persina empire, to the Roman empire. The final empire of the Antichrist will end the same way and for the same reasons.

God’s creation bears a signature which He has put on all He created, the seal of cosmic order. Everything God created must function under a system of morally correct order and if it does not, it will self destruct with time. There is no life with peace or a future where that cosmic order is spurned and man attempts to live apart from the cosmic law of order. The bible is a verbal revelation of cosmic order for man to follow. If he does not he will self destruct with time. Dictator after dictator has raised himself above this cosmic law but to this day their dreams have failed and they themselves have turned to dust and no more than a blip on the screens of history. Men and nations cannot succeed if they flaunt the laws of cosmic order God has instilled in every atom of His creation! have all failed and is no law. There is no life without law under all of God’s canopies! It simply does not exist because it cannot exist.

The color, the beauty and symmetry of earth and sky, The cosmic order of the universe emanate with the purity and holiness of God. Troubled souls still seek the quietness of open fields and golden sunsets for reflection and inner peace. There is a universal acknowledgment of goodness in the natural beauty of the earth. Man’s nature feels an affinity with the creation in His breast. He is linked to nature through the creation. There is no salvation in the beauty of nature because there is no blood in it, but there is a God consciousness in it.

Man must be careful he does not confuse this God consciousness in nature with salvation provided in the cross of Jesus. One is the religion of the human spirit: But salvation is the religion of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Redemption includes blood that redeems AND the beauty of nature.

God, Goodness, government Inseparable But when God made man He gave to him a privilege not granted any other part of the creation; He gave to man the right of intelligent (soulish) choice, the option to live under God Government or self government.

God out of love for His creature, sent His Son to shed redemptive blood that man be provided a legal means by which he could return into the presence of God to be restored to original fellowship with Him. When the sinful man confesses his rebellion against God’s moral law (1 John 3:4), The Spirit of Christ comes and a new heart is given to man making his new nature compatible with God’s government! (Hebrews 8:10; 10:16) That same government of love that was first revealed in Eden.

In the first creation God put man into The order of paradise.
In the new creation Christ puts the order of paradise back into the man.

The whole redemptive purpose in the cross is to restore man to harmony with God Government as Adam before the fall. The only possibility of this is through a new nature, God Given, and blood purchased.

The cross itself cannot be understood apart from moral law! The law of God is exalted every time the cross is preached in truth! Psalm 138:2. 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8. For it was the law, you see, that demanded the shedding of blood for the remission of sins! Leviticus 17:11; Hebrews 9:22. The cross is only understood and preached in a correct perspective when man’s nature is restored to affinity and harmony with Divine Government through the cross.

Regeneration is evidenced when the will of the individual surrenders to the will of God Government. John 14:21. This is the only true evidence of being born again. 1 John 2:29.

Liberal minded Christians must realize that it is not the moral law of God
that is evil, But that the nature of man is evil and depraved.

Romans 3:31; 7:7, 12, 14; 8:4,7.

God’s moral requirements are designed for what God deems the good of man.

In the creation record, God’s love, God’s Righteousness and God’s judgement are all different expressions of God’s goodness. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. Psalm 33:5.

The Goodness of God.

The Hebrew word TOV (good) is often used as the word referring to the moral excellence (holiness) of God’s nature; Genesis 1:4, 10, 12, 18, 21, 25, 31, 2:9. Exodus 33:19; 34:6. Deuteronomy 30:25. The Goodness of God

Matthew 19:17; Mark 10:18; Luke 18:19; John 10:11; Acts 14:17; Romans 2:4; 11:22.

Note: In the dispensations prior to Grace, God revealed Himself through the spoken Word. For this reason there was more frequent reference to the goodness of God in the O.T. account than is directly mentioned in the N.T.. In the Dispensation of Grace, God’s loving nature was displayed openly through the spectacle of the cross. On Galgotha God provided a legal atonement for all of mankind to be restored to full fellowship with God. Calvary is the ultimate example of Grace; It was God providing for man something man could not provide for himself.
